The TBQZ series is an integrated motor-and-pump, fully submersible solid–liquid two-phase handling unit designed to operate entirely below the surface of the medium. It is particularly suited to slurries containing solids such as sand and gravel, coal cinders and tailings, and is an ideal replacement for conventional horizontal slurry pumps. It is widely used for slurry removal and transport in metallurgical plants, mines and coal-fired power stations.
The main pump can be used on its own.
– For materials prone to caking, water jetting rings or 2–3 agitators can be added around the main pump, greatly increasing the solids concentration the pump can handle and thereby its throughput.
The main pump and agitators can be driven by either electric motors or hydraulic motors.
Motor-driven units offer IP68 protection and variable-frequency control, with a typical submergence depth of no more than 30 m.
Hydraulic-motor drives can be integrated with an excavator, making relocation on site more flexible.
The dry-type, bottom-mounted submersible pump, with a dry motor in a bottom-mounted configuration and multiple mechanical seals protecting the motor cavity, keeping out water and debris for reliable motor operation.
Main impeller: Generates the primary pumping force for efficient slurry transfer.
Bottom agitator impeller: The core innovation. Located at the base of the pump, it agitates and jets settled, compacted sludge into turbulent suspension, so that high-concentration slurry forms directly at the main impeller’s suction inlet — enabling high-concentration pumping without auxiliary equipment.
Wetted parts: The impeller, agitator impeller and other principal wetted parts are made from high-wear-resistant alloy, giving abrasion and corrosion resistance and non-clogging operation with relatively large solids.
Balanced seal: A special pressure-balanced sealing arrangement equalises the pressure inside and outside the seal chamber, keeping the mechanical seal balanced on both sides and greatly improving sealing reliability and service life.
