The TBPM series is a new-generation, high-efficiency and energy-saving product developed in-house and purpose-designed for frothy slurries. The vertical version partially breaks down froth in the slurry during pumping, offers far greater handling capacity than other pump types and requires no shaft seal or seal water — the ideal solution for froth handling. The horizontal version is correspondingly easier to maintain, with lower bearing and shaft failure rates; its larger feed diameter and unique impeller passage favour froth suction.
Eliminating the feed box simplifies the structure. The layout closely follows that of a conventional slurry pump, which translates into simple, fast maintenance.
The horizontal layout gives a relatively short shaft span, so impeller rotation imposes less disturbance on the bearings and they run in a more stable environment.
Mechanical seal: Very low leakage and high sealing reliability; suited to duties where leakage is not permitted or the medium is toxic, hazardous or valuable
Gland packing seal: Simple, easy to maintain and cost-effective; a small amount of leakage is permissible.
Expeller seal: Centrifugal force generated by the expeller balances the pressure in the seal chamber. Used in combination with gland packing, it significantly reduces leakage and extends packing life — a standard configuration on slurry pumps.
