Heavy-duty transport pump for highly abrasive slurries
Discharge bore 1–22 in capacity 1–6,500 m³∕h head 5–68 m
The TBHR series is a single-stage, single-suction, cantilevered, double-casing horizontal centrifugal slurry pump. Thick wear parts and a heavy-duty bearing frame make it suitable for highly abrasive, high-concentration slurries as well as low-concentration, high-head duties, and it can be operated in series within the pump’s maximum allowable working pressure within the pump’s maximum allowable working pressure. As a cantilevered centrifugal slurry pump for abrasive or corrosive slurries, it is widely used in the metallurgical, mining, oil, chemical, coal, power, transport, building-materials and municipal sectors.
A high-strength ductile iron pressure casing ensures structural integrity; the inner wear-resistant wetted parts can be replaced individually, while the outer casing provides protection and corrosion-safe containment.
The discharge branch indexes in 45° increments for eight installation positions, adapting to a wide range of piping arrangements.
Wide-passage concave impeller vanes prevent blockage, raise throughput and optimise the flow field to reduce wear — handling complex slurries and extending the service life of wear parts.
Mechanical seal: Very low leakage and high sealing reliability; suited to duties where leakage is not permitted or the medium is toxic, hazardous or valuable
Gland packing seal: Simple, easy to maintain and cost-effective; a small amount of leakage is permissible
Expeller seal: Centrifugal force generated by the expeller balances the pressure in the seal chamber. Used in combination with gland packing, it significantly reduces leakage and extends packing life — a standard configuration on slurry pumps.
