The TBYZ series is a vertical centrifugal slurry pump designed to be immersed in the liquid to handle corrosive, coarse-particle, high-concentration slurries. It requires no shaft seal or seal water and continues to operate reliably even when suction supply is limited.

Core Structure & Working Principle

Seal-free, zero leakage, low maintenance

Completely avoids the wear-related failure of mechanical seals in solids-laden slurry. Suitable for toxic, high-temperature and highly abrasive media such as tailings, red mud and FGD gypsum slurry. No seal water or flushing system is required during operation, reducing operating and maintenance costs.

High-wear-resistant parts, long service life

The impeller and casing are made of high-chrome cast iron at HRC 58–65, giving 5–8 times the wear resistance of ordinary cast iron; rubber liners can be specified for fine, soft-particle duties.

Long shaft with multiple support points for smooth running

A set of guide bearings is provided every 1.5–2 m, with a choice of water-cooled metal bearings or self-lubricating rubber/plastic bearings. The shaft train is checked for dynamic balance and critical speed, giving reliable vibration performance for shafts up to 6 m.

Direct tank mounting, lower civil works

The pump can be placed directly into ponds and tanks with no pump house and no priming required, meeting routine suction and emergency desilting duties.

Wide passages and high non-clogging capability

Open or semi-open impellers pass solids of 60–100 mm with a low risk of blockage.

Modular construction for fast servicing

The complete rotor assembly can be lifted out without dismantling the discharge piping; standardised wear parts make replacement quick.
